Dry skin around the eyes?
Hey I was just wondering if anyone could help identify what exactly is wrong with me because i can’t seem to suss it out. Around a week and a half ago I started getting dry skin on my eyelids. This has become even worse now and the area around my eyes is red and sometimes just under its slightly wrinkled too. I got this eye cream (Golden Eye) for irritated skin from the chemist and it’s not really made much of a difference. Then lately my hay fever has kicked in. It’s normally mild but was a little stronger this time and today my skin seems to be getting even more dry and i look like hell! I don’t know if it’s linked to hay fever or not. If it helps, I think it may be an allergic reaction to some facial wipes I started using. I’ve stopped using them but my skin doesn’t seem to be healing.
Yes, sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Stop using all products on your face except for a mild clear soap, Johnson’s and Johnson’s Baby Soap, or Nuetrogena. After cleaning entire face with either of these products apply vegetable or olive oil to you face and rub in lightly….include the area around your eyes and your eyelids.
