Dry Eye Hormone Changes
32 weeks pregnant and notice my eyes feel dry! Anyone else?
My optomitrist warned me that in the last quarter Pregnancy eyes really change, even how to them …. apparently the way to keep the water changes due to hormones. She says it can be difficult wear my contacts in the last weeks of pregnancy, so that there can be right. I began to draw to be a bit annoying, especially when you put them, so was to opt for the glasses in place. However, today has all the time I get up in the morning … (Or even in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom) my eyes feel SOOOOO dry! To the point I'm literally splashing water on my face just to get some moisture in my eyes lol. Anyone else notice this?
Yes I have the same problem and if I am pregnant, due to changes in hormones (I was taking the pill). How Often hormonal changes, estrogen levels fluctuate. Estrogen is the factor that controls the production of tears in women, and because of this imbalance, eyes feel dry. In your case, I would see an ophthalmologist, an optometrist no. Also, take omega 3, which regulates hormonal changes. As you can see, her eyes swollen and aesthetically displeasing due to hormonal changes, then you should see a health professional steroid eye drops (although this is generally for people who have had LASIK). Where appropriate, talk to a professional about omega 3 (from pregnancy), which should solve the problem:)
