This product has various navigation features that make it the best Garmin has to offer.  The Garmin nuvi 660 comes preloaded with detailed maps of areas all over the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.  It also comes with over 6 million points of interest on the maps including restaurants, ATMs, historical landmarks, and more.  The Garmin nuvi 660 also comes with a TMC channel receiver that can locate traffic jams and areas with heavy traffic.  The unit will then calculate a new route that avoids traffic at your request.  The multiple navigation features make the Garmin nuvi 660 an excellent navigator.  
The fantastic 4.3 inch widescreen TFT display makes the Garmin nuvi 660 easy to view.  This bright screen also allows you to zoom in and out of the maps making it easier to view specific points of interest.  The unit comes with turn by turn directions that never leave you out to dry such as leading you down a wrong street or telling you to turn at the last second.  The text to speech feature is also very helpful because it allows you to check the route directions without taking your eyes of the road.  The touchscreen feature also makes this unit very easy to type in a location or points of interest.  The Garmin nuvi 660 contains a voice prompt that reads off the directions so you don’t have to look down while your driving your car.  This comes really handy when driving on busy highways or difficult city streets.  

The Garmin nuvi 660 also has a feature called bluetooth capability.  Therefore you can make calls on this unit while you are driving without using your cellphone.  This is a great feature because many states are making it illegal to talk on a cellphone.  With the bluetooth capability this unit allows you to make important phone calls but also keeps you from breaking the law and also keeps your eyes on the road ahead.  This unit is also an mp3 player and therefore you can listen to your favorite music while you drive.  The Garmin nuvi 660 has a battery life of around 7 hours.  The portable feature also allows you to move this unit from car to car with ease.  This unit can also be placed in a Garmin gps mount which allows you to view your device at a desired angle and keeps it from falling on the floor of your car while you are driving.
