Dry Eye Syndrome Plugs
How old do you have to be in order to get punctal plugs?
I am 15 years old and I suffer from dry eyes syndrome due to a medication I have been on and I would like to try punctal plugs to see if they help.
I’ve been told that even if I am 25, it’s considered early to get them.
Is that true? How old do I have to be in order to get them?

Usually most doctors won’t do them until you are 18. However you can ask your doctor if it would be something they would be willing to do because of the medication.
