Eye Medical Problems
US Marine question…what medical problems does the MEPS office say that you can’t join the Marine Corps? help
I have dislocated knee caps on both of my knee’s they lock and give away alot. I have a few other medical problems such as acid refulx disease, hypoglycemia (a form a diabetes), i had both my ankle’s break last year so they are a little iffy at times, my hip pops in and out, bad eye sight (i’m piont 1.5 away from being legally night blind, and i have a slight heart murmur. That is it. Would these keep me out of the marine corps?
Oh I live in Ohio does anyone know where the closest MEPS office is in the Akron/Canton area?
Yes, you would need waivers for all of those things. Have you spoken to a recruiter yet? Most likely you would not be able to get all of them. I’m pretty sure you are dq’d but call a recruiter and see if he will work with you. If your knees lock and give out, your not going to make it through boot camp though, so even if you did get a waiver you would be sent home eventually.
