Kitten Eye Problems?
We have just taken in 5 kitttens from a women who could not keep them. They are 6 weeks old. They have severe eye buggers, and crusties. (3 of the cats, not all 5). They are still active kittens, eat alot and play with each other, and come up to us. However they ahve had these eye problems for about a week. I clean them out 2-3 times a day with a warm wet cloth, and they seem to do fine for a dew hours, but it always comes back. Could it have anything to do with the air conditioning in my house? the previous owner did not have it, and i did not know if that could help the infection. Any suggestions, i really cannot afford a vet bill, but could not let these kittens go, their other owner was jsut going to leave them outside. 
Hi there… it’s possible the kittens could have an upper respiratory infection and will need a round of antibiotics to treat. Left untreated the infection can become life-threatening. The kittens do need to be evaluated and need their vaccinations to help build antibodies against feline diseases.

If you are unable to have them treated, consider ringing many of the local no-kill cat shelters and see if someone can help take in the kittens so they can be treated and later found homes.
