Eye Problems Floaters
is there a cure for floaters (an eye problem)?
No, and you shouldn’t worry about it unless from one annual exam to another, you have significantly MORE floaters, or your vision becomes hazy. Floaters are actually bits of the inside of the eye that become detatched and float around inside. When they pass by the optic nerve, you see them.
Having a lot of floaters could be an early sign of a detatched retina or some other opthalmalogic problem. Make sure you have an eye exam every year. If your vision very suddenly changes or clouds, go in immediately.
