Lazy Eye Tests

Going for another eye test.. but I want contacts?
Okay, so I am going for an eye test today at specsavers. I am 14, and this is been a year since I have got my glasses, I absolutely HATE them. They feel uncomfortable on my face, I feel like I have the wrong Lens in one of my eyes (and my mum forgot about my lazy eye when I was a kid, so we said no I have never had one?)..I tried telling my mum, but shes so lazy, and says ”well they wouldn’t have given you the wrong Lens!”. Also I would do anything to get rid of them, my face does not suit them, and people have told me that. I haven’t been wearing them everyday, most times never. And I have a ”stigma?” in my eye, well I think that is what he said.. So what do I say when I go?.
just be honest with him. explain how you feel about the glasses and discuss the option of new ones. also talk about contact lenses, with you being 14 your eyes may still be growing, but don’t quote me on that one. see what the optician says about them and discuss the options available to you in terms of daily wear/ monthly ones etc.
don’t forget to mention the lazy eye although this should already be on your notes i think as i doubt you have had that then not needed glasses
good luck
