what is wrong with my gf? swollen eye, discharge 10 PTS?
my girlfriend woke up today with these symptoms
Sore Throat, And the back of ears, Swollen eye, Redness, White Liquidy Discharge, Stickiness when she woke up in the morning, she feels like there is something in her eye, and her eye is sore. I was thinking pink eye but i dont think sore throat is a symptom of pink eye anyways. i might be wrong tho !
what could this be? shes going to the doctor tomorrow but just want to get a reassurance before tomorrow. This is only in her left eye and the left eye kind of looks smaller !

I had a sore throat that lasted for 6 weeks about 2 weeks ago. I dont know but i keep thinking wut my gf has might be related to what i had? but i didnt have any eye symptoms just a sore throat and i was put on 3 different antibiotics and strep was negative. Is there a disease that stays in your body for that long?
It sounds like your girlfriend has conjunctivitis, which is also known as pink eye. Symptoms include eye discharge, redness and mild swelling. Visual changes and pain with eye movement suggest a more serious condition. Conjunctivitis can be caused by allergies, viral or bacterial infections. Some viral upper respiratory infections can be associated with sore throat and conjunctivitis. Treatment is with eye drops. Most cases resolve within a week with no long term consequences.
