Pink Eye Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment
How long after I finish my Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment treatment can I wear my contacts?
I’m using this ointment for pink eye. It says to use three times a day for five days… Tomorrow is my last day. I’m wondering how soon can I start wearing my contacts…
These are new contacts so there’s no risk to put the bacteria back in there. Can I put them on like an hour after I put on the ointment for the last time?
Btw, my pink eye seems to be gone now.
Is your pink eye completely gone? If so then you should be able to wear your contacts again. Just to be safe I’d wait one day longer before you wear your contacts again.
