Pink Eye Joke
How do you know if you are getting pink eye?
This girl in my class today came with pink eye and they didn’t even send her home! Me and my friend kept telling her to stay away and stuff and she took it as a joke. when i came home i remembered she had it and all of a sudden my eye started itching and just a tiny bit watered. I don’t know if it was my mind from before but I just thought about it again and my eye itches a tiny bit that’s what made me ask this. How do you know if your getting pink eye?
Itching and watering are symptoms as well as discharge from the eye and crustiness around the eyelashes when you wake up in the morning. Your eye will turn red and may swell and tear. The longer you wait to be seen, the worse it will be. You need to treat it because it is extremely contagious and very uncomfortable. If you have symptoms, call your doctor and get medication as soon as possible.
It doesn’t go away without treatment.
Make sure you don’t share your towel with anyone else and keep your hands very clean so you don’t spread it to family members.
