Pink Eye Tobrex
I’m really scared of my vision. Help?
Well I went to my eye doctor once my started to be pink/red and having blurry vision on the right eye. She said I had a big eye infection due to overusing my acuvue contacts. She didn”t exactly told me what I had on my eye. She prescribed me antibotic drops called vigamox & and overnight ointment called tobrex. Today I woke up hoping it would have improved but i believe my right eye just got more blurry. She said the ointment might cause blurryness; but even till the morning? I’m 17 and im really scared, should I go to a hospital today on a sunday since my blurryness got worse? Please help anyone.
Read the pamphlets that came with your meds for side effects and cautions and if there’s anything you shouldn’t take with it like food, drink, or other meds. Sometimes those pamphlets don’t have all the info, so Google your meds. Since your dr said one might cause blurriness, it’s probably ok. If the medicine/s are making it worse, you can always stop using it until you can talk to/see your dr. on Monday.
Try to rest them closed as much as you can. I recall my eye dr. telling me that eyes heal themselves in about 24-48 hours when I had my contacts in too long.
