Red Dry Eyes Symptoms
What are swollen eyes a symptom of?
How long before I should go to the doctor? My right eye has been swollen for no apparent reason for 3 days now. And just today, my left eye started swelling. I don’t feel sick, I don’t have any other symptoms, just my eyes are really sore. I tried putting eye cream on, but I know if that helps or hurts the matter … the skin around the eye is really red and dry too. What kind of ailments would cause this and how to treat it/keep it manageable before I’m able to go to the doctor?
For clarification, it’s the skin around the eyes, not the eyes themselves.
It sounds like you have some sort of allergy that may have gotten in your eye. If you don’t want to see a doctor right away, take some Benadryl. If it is an allergy, then it should slowly start to go away. If it doesn’t go away, I would ask a doctor. You might just have some sort of infection in there.
Rosacea
