Our seven month old girl cat gets red-rimmed eyes. What should we do?
Our seven month old girl cat gets red-rimmed eyes, sometimes pretty badly but it varies. She also always has dark matter in the corners of her eyes. We wipe it away but it comes right back. The boy cat (her brother) doesn’t get it so much, but a little.
There are fleas, but it’s winter and we comb them both with a flea comb often. We find very few fleas. Especially after having treated them with a natural spray-on flea remedy.
They both seem pretty healthy otherwise. Thanks so much.
Are these Persian kitties? If so, they tend to have eyes like this, but ask your vet if it seems worrisome.
