Does my dog have pink eye?
She has some pale greenish discharge in the corner of her eye and more watery discharge on the sides, also the membrane on the bottom of her eye is reddish and so is the whites of her eyes I don’t think it’s allergies because it’s only in one eye.
Should I use some human pink eye drops?
NO do not use human meds on a dog. If its pink eye then your dog needs medicine from a vet. If you cant afford that then simply get some antibiotic cream from your pharmacy and using a qtip very gently clean the area two to three times a day swiping with the qtip from the center of the eye outwards. Apply a small amount of cream around the edge of the eye one time and wait to see if it helps or hurts. If you see no change after one application then the product is probably safe and you can continue applying. If the infection doesnt improve or go away withina week you need to see a vet.
