Stericon’s Contact Lens Care Solutions, Eyewash & Sterile Eye, Ear and Nasal Drops are manufactured under stringent quality controlled conditions at a ISO13485 certified facility. Stericon Pharma Pvt Ltd has built a completely new manufacturing facility situated at Bommasandra Industrial Area , Bangalore which has been designed to manufacture Contact Lenses, Contact Lens Cleaning Solution and Pre sterilized Eye / Ear/ Nasal Drop Formulation. The Unit went into Commercial Operation in May 2009 The facility is equipped with high quality state-of-the-art equipment covering every step of the manufacturing process.
STERICON PHARMA PRIVATE LIMITED started commercial operations in June 2002.The company was set up initially to manufacture and market Contact Lens Cleaning Solutions. The License was received for the manufacture of Eye/Ear and Nasal Formulations at the end of 2002.The Manufacture, Import and Sale of Contact Lenses in India started from May 2009. Contact Lens Cleaning Solutions are sold throughout India under own brand and by means of Private Labels and sometimes own brand Internationally
Exports, mainly under Private Label Brands to the following countries are based on specific customer requirements:-
UNITED KINGDOM, SPAIN, PORTUGAL, ITALY, TURKEY, GERMANY, POLAND, THAILAND, MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA, AFRICA, AUSTRALIA, USA, UAE, SAUDI ARABIA, JORDAN, KUWAIT, SRI LANKA .
Stericon is ISO 13485 and ISO 9001:2008 certified by Det Norske Veritas , ( DNV ), Norway. Contact Cleaning Solutions are also CE certified by DNV, which certifies that the Products comply with the applicable requirements of the European Medical device directive. The CE Certificate authorizes the free movement/marketing of Stericon’s Contact lens cleaning solutions in
all European Union Countries.
In India, Contact Lenses and Solutions are sold through our network of dedicated distributors and selective own field force covering Optical outlets, Ophthalmologists, Retail Chemists, Eye Hospitals and Optical Chains like Titan Eye +, Vision Express (Pearle), GKB, Lawrence and Mayo etc.
Stericon has manufacturing licenses for more than 58 products for manufacture under contract and loan license from the Drug Control Department of the State of Karnataka – India for Sterile Eye, Ear, Nasal Drops. Using these licenses, Stericon manufactures sterile eye and ear drops on contract for various companies like Medreich Ltd, Wexford Labs for International markets. Stericon also manufactures and supplies Eye Drops for the Karnataka Government Health services.

We follow strict and mature processes to ensure that quality is maintained at the highest levels. The Quality Control Department continuously monitors the quality of raw material , packing material, in process and finished products . It is well equipped for conducting chemical & microbiological tests. Strict quality control processes have been established, which include sampling and analysis, shelf life studies and internal GMP audits. A separate Quality Assurance Department does strict quality checks during Manufacture and Final release of all Products.
